chi dep (chee DEP): Amnasi slang for “loser” or those of low fortune

davrit (DAH-vreet) pl. davritei (DAH-vreet-eh-ee): slang for psycho, freak

des (dess) pl. desei (DESS-eh-ee): unit of distance, equivalent to about half a mile

desakh (deh-SAKH): drink made from a Zuldan fruit

deskra (DESS-krah), pl. deskrei (DESS-kreh-ee): unit of time made up of five gerasei, or forty five days

dona (DOH-nah): thank you

esh tup (esh TOOP): Amnasi word for somber, downtrodden

farhea (FAR-ey-ah): Algaran word for sister

geras (GEHR-ahs), pl. gerasei (GEHR-ahs-eh-ee): unit of time made up of nine days

haskul (HASS-kool): a Dmuska weapon that fires projectiles

hitiq (HEE-teek): Zuldan slang for many, or “a ton of”

iskarna (is-KARN-ah): reincarnation, part of the Ascendant Empire’s motto

isthilak (ISS-thil-ahk): one of a younger race

isthilkem (ISS-thil-kem): lesser one (in a derogatory sense)

jusarik (JOO-sar-ihk): a drunkard, someone suffering a bad hangover

kaumat (KOW-maht): immature person

Keltuq (KELL-took): honorific for a foreign dignitary in Zulda

kerisya (kehr-IHS-yah): sweetheart, dear one

kesin (keh-SEEN): instinct

Sem Narim (SEM nar-EEM): term of respect used for the queen, used by those of lower station, equivalent to “Your Majesty”

Sem Sarwe (sem SAR-weh): term of respect used for female children of the royal family, used by those of lower station, equivalent to “Your Majesty”

Sem Suskem (SEM soos-KEM): term of respect used for the king used by those of a lower station, equivalent to “Your Majesty”

Sem Topas (SEM TOH-pahs): term of respect used for male children of the royal family, used by those of lower station, equivalent to “Your Majesty”

Sem-Kelad (sem keh-LAHD): device reserved for high-ranking personnel in the Ascendant Empire
